The committee discussed the following program assessment plans:

CIS - several questions came up regarding the meaning and administration of the SAM and Microsoft certifications, plus the last row looked more like a summary of course-level assessments.  These comments will be sent to Shirley Johnson and Charlene Duran.  Plan will upgrade to status=4.

OFT - same questions as for CIS - response is to reply to Shirley Johnson.  Plan will upgrade to status=4.

MANT - Manufacturing Technologies was discussed and the fact that nothing but welding was mentioned seemed strange; what about MT and Precision Machining and Diesel/HeavyEquipment assessments?  Question will be relayed to Norm Williams.

GUS - Gunsmithing assessment has not been updated since last meeting, so Philbin will contact department.

OSHA - LeRoy Trusty wrote a very comprehensive outline of a program expansion plan, not really an assessment plan.  Donna Meyerholz will contact LeRoy and discuss what he might do to turn the draft into an assessment plan.

The Arts, Humanities, and Social/Behavioral Sciences plan was reviewed and accepted with the correction of AS to AA in the first row and a question about finalizing the course list in the third row.

The meeting adjourned at 5pm.
