This two
semester certificate program is designed to provide theory and hands-on
training for entry level skills through craftsman-level competencies. Day and
evening classes for part- or full-time students range from areas of safety,
wood identification, tool set-up, use & maintenance, layout and design,
material selection, jig set-up, cabinet & door construction, finishing,
and advanced furniture and cabinet construction. |

Goal 2 -
Student Success 2a. To educate and qualify students for careers in
technical fields and to assist them in securing employment in these fields. |
Graduates from the certificate program will be able to enter the ??field in a carpentry level job or higher. Graduates from the AAS degree program will be able to enter the ?? field at a lead, foreman, management or self employed position |

CTE office will collect VE-135 data from students. This data is also sent to the state. |
