  • Create a series of thumbnail sketches for preliminary ideas.
  • Develop thumbnails into rough layouts.
  • Produce at least three comprehensive layouts
  • Complete production using cost-effective and high-quality method.
In all GCA courses Portfolio evaluation and critique in face-to-face interview with student. Portfolio evaluations will be analyzed by the department faculty and a report will be written summarizing specific pedagogical practices that (a) need improvement, (b) need to be continued or amplified, and (c) need to be eliminated. This report will be sent to assessment coordinator and division chair-person.
  • Meet with client and team members and determine design needs and specifications.
  • Establish project phases, deadlines, budget, and fee structure.
  • Determine design, equipment and production methods
  • Include cross-platform file formatting
GCA xxx, yyy, and zzz Assigned group project Peer review and critique of project after completed; students summarize results in written form for instructor. Client is encouraged to write a summary of the project. The instructor fowards these results to division chair and assessment chair.
