Every Spring the previous year’s graduates are contacted |

Acquire
the occupational / technical knowledge and skills which will permit students
to enter the work force with a 750 hour Certificate in Massage Therapy. |
Obtain
a general knowledge of all the body systems, plus a detailed knowledge of
anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. This also includes
therapeutic massage assessment, application, with an emphasis on professional
standards, ethics, business and legal practices. |
Pre/Post
Test and demonstrate proficiency in various massage techniques. |
All
students at the beginning and end of each semester. |
90%
of the students to perform at 70% or higher. |
All
instructors will develop scores from his/her own
classes, which will measure these general and specific guidelines. All of
this is geared to take and pass the National Certification Exam for
Therapeutic Massage (NCETM) |
