Graduates will obtain jobs in Office Technologies or other related areas or continue education

VE-135 Survey

Every spring previous year’s graduates are contacted

70% get jobs in Office Technologies or related area within one year or transfer to a 4-year college or university

Program chair will develop VE-135 data from students.  This data is also sent to the state.

Pass the SAM and/or Microsoft Office Specialist Tests in applicable courses

Skills Assessment Manager (SAM) or Microsoft Office Specialist testing as administered by instructor

During relevant courses, students will take the SAM and/or Microsoft Office Specialist Tests.

Students will pass the assessments with 70% or higher.

Individual instructors will administer SAM and/or Microsoft Office Specialist tests and record results. Where?

Demonstrate proficiency in the skills required to be successful in business and industry

Rubrics, Pre and Post Tests, Questionnaires, and Comprehensive Projects

For each course, students will complete either pre-or post tests, questionnaires or comprehensive project.

70% of students earn 70% or better

Program instructors will grade, analyze, record and report the results to the online fom.
