		<p>Pretest scores ranged from 4% to 44%. Post test scores ranged from 84%-99% which demonstrated satisfactory gains in mastering the material on the pre and post test and hopefully the class.</p>
	</descrDataCollected>
	<data>
		<p>Essays on the importance of attachment demonstrated an acceptable understanding of the theories presented in relationship to the growth and development of young children. All students received a grade of C or better on their essays.</p>
		<p>The course evaluation given out at the end of the class indicated that the hybrid method of delivery was widely accepted and evaluated at 3or 4 out of 4. There were no evaluations lower than 3 given for the method of presentation. In the short answer part of the evaluation, students mainly complained about the amount of material that was covered, but they all liked the study guides and power point presentations. All 13 students indicated that they would take another hypbrid course again.</p>
	</data>
	<conclusions>
		<p>The students successfully mastered the material in the pre/post test which included vocabulary, theories and application. They appreciated the flexibility of the hybrid method of presentation. They did complain about the amount of reading and the number of quizzes they were required to take on blackboard. Some of the quizzes had problems with answers and this frustrated the students. Several students would have liked more class time to discuss theories. Several students did not like the discussion board component of class.</p>
	</conclusions>

		<p>According to the assessment techniques used, this was a successful class. I am always frustrated with this class because there is so much to cover. I will redo the quizzes that had errors in them on Blackboard. I am also frustrated because we have very little hands-on-experiential learning. I would like to incorporate some classroom observation for this class but there is so much to cover that it would almost demand that the class become a 4 credit class. I will continue the hybrid format for presentation of this class.</p>
		<p>I will continue to use the hybrid format with use of blackboard to support classroom learning. The students really enjoyed having some of the classes meet only on Blackboard, especially because this class has many nontraditional students who come from outlying areas. I will continue to use powerpoint on blackboard as a means of reinforcing lectures.</p>
