Dan Jolly has been selected Classified Employee of the Year at Trinidad State Junior College. Jolly, who is a Grounds & Nursery specialist, tends to TSJC’s beautiful Trinidad campus doing snow removal, planting, lawn-mowing, and also takes care of the college’s buses and automobiles.

He was recognized by the Colorado Community College System at a ceremony and luncheon on March 2 in Denver. TSJC President Felix Lopez thanked Jolly for his hard work and loyalty to the college and said that it is a pleasure and honor to work with him. “As a member of TSJC’s outstanding Physical Plant staff, Dan can always be counted on to perform his duties with a smile,” Lopez added.

Jolly, who graduated from TSJC’s Diesel Mechanics Program and worked for Barney’s Garage as a diesel mechanic for many years, started working at TSJC in 2005. He says that every day is a new adventure at the college.

A graduate of Aguilar High School, Jolly still cuts wood and works on the family with his Parents, Thomas and Edna. He has three children, Daniel, Jared, and Logan.
