Take Control of Your Future.....

Get your GED
Did you quit school before you received your high school diploma?  Did you move and never re-enrolled in a new school?  Do you need a GED to get a better job or continue your education?  If any of these apply to you, then we are here for you!  Trinidad's Adult Education Program will prepare you for the GED test.  Our program and all the materials you will need are free!  Plus, we are self-paced, so you will work independently and at your own speed, in the areas and subject matters that you need!  When the staff feels you are ready to take the GED test, we'll set up a place and time with our GED test administrator here at Trinidad.  Once you complete your GED, we'll also help you continue your education at TSJC by putting you in touch with the right advisors and counselors.  Our goal is to help you get started with the rest of your life!

Learn English
Are you a new resident here in the United States and still haven't mastered the English Language?  Do you know someone or work with someone who would really like to learn English better?  The TSCJ Adult Education Program can help with that, too!  We provide English language instruction to all levels of non-English speakers -- from the beginning levels, where we teach them how to communicate in English - out in the community, in the schools and at the workplace.  Or, if a person come to us at a higher level and are very comfortable speaking and listening, we can further help them by working with them better read and write in English.  Again, our classes are free and we provide the materials.
