Other TSJC Services

Academic Advising: Get on track with the proper courses! Meet with an academic advisor that will discuss your interests and the proper courses to get you to accomplish your goal.

Student Support: TSJC offers student support in the following ways:

TRiO- Student Support Services: This office provides helps TSJC students who have low-income backgrounds, are first-generation students, or have a disability. The TRiO office helps students to develop responsibility, self-confidence, self-awareness and college life skills during their study at TSJC so they can successfully transfer and/or graduate.

Office of Student Life: Located in the Sullivan Student Center, Student Life provides a variety of support services for TSJC students, including nightly activities, leadership programs, new student orientation, recognized student organizations, and much more!

Educational Opportunity Center (EOC): The EOC program provides educational information, planning, and assistance in completing applications for admission, financial aid, and scholarships to low income and first-generation individuals. If you have not started classes yet at TSJC and would like financial aid planning and advising, please contact the EOC.

Adult Education/GED/ESL:
GED: Did you quit school before your received your high school diploma? Did you move and never re-enrolled in a new school? Do you need a GED to get a better job or continue your education?
ESL: Are you a new United States resident and still haven't mastered the English Language? Do you know someone or work with someone who would like get a better grasp on the English Language?

Workforce Centers provide a variety of free services to assist employers and job seekers alike. These include: job listings, computer & internet access, career counseling & training for job seekers; and recruitment of workers, pre-screening & referral services, tax credits, and training reimbursement for employers. Customers can choose either self-service or staff-assisted options to meet their employment needs.
