Full-Time Positions:

Vice President - Valley Campus
Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC) seeks a Vice President for its Valley Campus located in Alamosa, Colorado. This is a full-time, 12-month, administrator position which reports directly to the President of the College. The Vice President has primary responsibility for providing administrative leadership and overall direction to ensure efficient campus operations, and to promote community relations, partnerships, marketing/communications, and concurrent enrollment within the service area. This position will collaborate closely with Trinidad Leadership to ensure consistent practices across both campuses and will be responsible for daily leadership and operational oversight of the campus. This position is active in enforcing administrative, fiscal and legal standards as prescribed by the State Board for Community Colleges, adhering to College policies and procedures and budget oversight for all College services and programs.

Director of Human Resources
The Human Resources Director is a staff position for which basic responsibility is general management and control of all personnel functions of the college to include, but not limited to, affirmative action, EEO, Title IX, management of personnel/human resources, staff development, and ethics officer. The position also has budget responsibilities concerning staffing patterns and salaries. This position will ensure compliance with the personnel policies and procedures of the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE), State of Colorado, CCCS, and Trinidad State.

College Recruiter and Admissions Specialist – Trinidad Campus
This person is directly responsible for the recruitment of traditional undergraduate and non-traditional students to the College. The position is based on the Trinidad Campus but travels in the service area, Colorado and surrounding states. The recruiter will manage all aspects of the admissions funnel for prospective students within an assigned geographic territory. Extensive travel (including evenings/overnights/weekends), valid driver's license or ability to arrange for transportation, and the ability to lift 10-15 pounds are expected. Develops, maintains, manages database of prospective students. Assists in planning, coordinating and executing recruiting and outreach promotions, activities and events. Works collaboratively with faculty, staff and external resources to achieve the Campus’ enrollment and outreach objectives. Position reports to the Director of Student Life, Recruiting and Outreach.

Transfer Coordinator and Advisor, TRiO – Trinidad Campus
This is an exempt position reports to the Director of TRIO - Student Support Services. The position is responsible for advising and TRiO support on the Trinidad Campus. Advising and TRiO support assists all aspects of the Student Support Services Grant to support grant goals and reporting requirements. The position may work directly with students, faculty and staff to support student success. This position supports extended hours in the Student Success Center during the academic year. Typically this supports the facility operations through evening hours three days per week.

Physical Plant Assistant – Trinidad and Valley Campuses
The Physical Plant Assistant is a full-time twelve-month professional position reporting directly to the Facilities Director responsible for assisting in managing the operation of facilities activities on both Trinidad and Alamosa campuses, as needed.
