Test of Essential Academic Skills v. 5.0 (TEAS) Testing Schedule

TEAS scores are used as part of the selection criteria for entry into TSJC’s Associates Degree in Nursing program beginning Fall 2010, so the test is mandatory for admission.

June

Wednesday, June 2 - 1:30 – 5 pm (arrive at 1:10) ‐ RETAKES OK
Monday June 21 – 1:30 – 5 pm (arrive at 1:10) ‐ RETAKES OK

July

Tuesday July 13 - 1:30 – 5 pm (arrive at 1:10) –RETAKES OK
Wednesday July 21 - 1:30 – 5 pm (arrive at 1:10) ‐ RETAKES OK

Before the Test

• If you’re interested in studying for the test, study manuals are online at www.atitesting.com , or will soon be available in the campus bookstore. Be sure to get version 5.0, Test A or B study guides.
• Call us the Success Center to reserve your place—test computers are limited so register early! Call Tori at 719/846‐5473, Jean at 719/846‐5477, or Marsha at 719‐846‐5478

Day of the test

• The cost is $25, payable at the Business Office in the Berg Administration Building, Room 209. Bring your receipt with you to the test as proof of payment.
• You must show a photo ID to take the test
• Arrive 20 minutes prior to the test start time. If you arrive late, you must reschedule
• No cell phones, food, or calculators are allowed in the testing area. Lockers are provided as a courtesy
• The test is timed, and will take approximately 3.5 hours

After the test

• Give your TEAS scores to the TSJC Nursing Department. Apply early and include all prior classes
• You can retake the test to improve your scores only ONCE
