Accuplacer Course Placement Testing - August 20

Steps to Complete before Orientation

Step 1

Apply for admission

Step 2

Apply for Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF) if you are a resident of Colorado for one year plus

Step 3

Apply for financial aid (FAFSA)
School code 001368
FAFSA usually takes about 3 weeks to process

Step 4

Send High School Transcripts and ACT/SAT scores to:

Step 5

Take Accuplacer based upon SAT/ACT scores
You will need to take an accuplacer for math if:
ACT is less than 23 or SAT is less than 460
You will need to take an accuplacer for Reading if:
ACT is less than 17 or SAT Verbal is less than 430
You will need to take an accuplacer for Sentence Skills if:
ACT is less than 18 or SAT Verbal is less than 440

You can find practice tests for the accuplacer @ http://www.trinidadstate.edu/ Under Student Support > Testing Services

After you have finished steps 1-7 and are unable to make orientation please call 1-800-621-8752 and ask for an advisor to get registered for classes!
