Deferred Payment Plans

Deferred payment plans can be made in one of two ways depending on the account you want to utilize. When determining the amount to be budgeted, keep in mind that full payment on accounts must be made before the end of each semester.

  • * Debit card or credit cards (VISA, Mastercard or Discover) are processed through the home campus only

Payment plans may be made through your home college by allowing us to access your debit card, or VISA, Mastercard or Discover cards. An Automatic Tuition Payment Agreement Form will need to be completed giving us authorization to access the designated account you are using as well as the amount budgeted along with the monthly payment amount. You may select the day of the month that is convenient for you to have the payment processed.

Third Party

If tuition and fees are to be paid by a third party, students must provide a copy of the authorization to the Cashier at the time of registration. The cashier's office will bill any third party sponsors, however, it is the students' responsibility to make sure all account balances are paid in full at the end of the semester.

Financial Aid

Verification of payment by financial aid is complete only when the student has received an award letter of funds, other than work study, sufficient to cover the student's cost of tuition and fees. Students must complete the promissory note in order for the loans to be disbursed to their account.

Holds

Failure to pay any balance on an account will result in a hold being placed on the student's account. The hold will not allow a student to register for additional classes for the current semester or following semesters. A hold will also prevent students from receiving official transcripts or their diplomas

Payment Assistance

NDSTrinidad State junior College has partnered with Nelnet Diversified Solutions (NDS) to provide assistance should you experience difficulty in repaying your Stafford loans. Responsible Repay is a service that will contact you if you are delinquent on one or more of your student loan payments. It is important that you respond to these calls, letter, e-mails and texts as soon as possible. NDS is not a collection agency – they are here to help you by providing information and counseling on the available options to bring your account current.
