The entire Trojan roster got into the act on Sophomore Night at Scott Gym. All eleven Trojan players saw plenty of time and found their way into the score book as Trinidad cruised past Laramie County 77-55.
Trinidad led the entire way using a balanced attack to take a 37-27 lead at the break. Alan Salazar hit eight straight points to start the second half and push the Trojans out to a huge lead. The Eagles never recovered and the Trojans went on for the win.
TSJC is now 13-16 one the season and has one regular season game remaining, a road trip to face Air Force JV on Tuesday, before heading to the Region IX Tournament in Torrington, Wyoming during the first week of March. TSJC will face 19-9 Miles Community College out of Miles City, Montana on Sunday, March 2 at 6 p.m. in the first round of the tournament.
