 The Trojan golf team extended their season with a seventh place finish at the sectional tournament in Gothenburg last week. The Trojans shot a three day total of 965 strokes or 101 over par to finish nine strokes behind Dodge City. Indian Hills won the tournament with a 15 over par 879.
Individually, Trojan Golfer Eric Weghorst shot a 237 to finish in 26th place overall.
The Trojans will now prepare for the National Tournament at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail River Course in Alexander City, Alabama. The tournament runs May 20-23. Attending the tournament will be Mitch Boyd, Eric Weghorst, Brad Hernandez, J.J. DeGarbo, Chris Turner and Coach Mike Folda.
