Trinidad State Junior College provides and opportunity for all students to take part in sports activities through a broad program of intramural and intercollegiate athletes. Intramural activities include badminton, dodge ball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, flag football, paint ball, pool, ping-pong and more. The men's and women's athletic teams are members of Region IX of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Men's teams compete in golf, basketball and baseball. Women compete in volleyball, golf and softball. Both men and women play against colleges in Colorado and surrounding states, including teams from Arizona, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. |
