Playing for a team called the Trojans shouldn’t prove to be too big of an adjustment for Jessica Callan. She has lettered the past three seasons for the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans in Colorado Springs. Callan recently signed to play with the Trinidad State volleyball team next season. She is a 5’10” middle blocker who will bring needed height to the Trojan roster. Jessica has twice been named to the CHSAA First Team-All State Academic team. In high school she maintained a 3.96 GPA.
“Jessica will be a great addition to our program,” praised Coach Tammy Schaible. “She is a great leader on the court and will help us out in the middle position.”
Callan will join a good bunch of returning sophomores who finished third in the south sub region of Region IX last season behind National Champion Western Nebraska and Northeastern Junior College.
Jessica’s parents are Beth and James Callan.
