Federal Pell Grant

Federal Pell Grant (English & Spanish versions)

These grants are designed to provide financial assistance to those who need it to attend post-high school educational institutions. The maximum award for the 2012-2013 academic year is $5,550 to full-time students who are U.S. citizens, meet other federal mandated guidelines and are making satisfactory academic progress. Part-time students will have their Pell Grant pro-rated based on actual enrollment each semester.

Colorado Student Grant

The Colorado Student Grant program is designed to assist needy students with educational expenses. Students must be residents of the State of Colorado and must demonstrate documented financial need. The maximum award for the 2012-2013 academic year is $1,500 to full-time students. Students must be making satisfactory academic progress. Funds are awarded to early applicants who meet the financial aid deadline of May 1st. All other applicants are awarded until the funding is exhausted.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

The Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant program is designed to assist needy students with educational expenses. Students must be non-residents and demonstrate documented financial need. The maximum award for 2012-2013 academic year is $1,200 to full-time students who are U.S. citizens, eligible for Federal Pell Grant and are making satisfactory academic progress.
