What to Bring to College
Here is a list of items that you may want to bring for your room.
All of our rooms are well lit and spacious. Students have the option of either single or double occupancy. All of the walls are brick including the closet walls.
Each room is provided with the following
- Twin Bed (per occupant)
- Desk and Chair (per occupant)
- Built in bookshelf with underneath lighting, hanging on the wall right in front of the windows
- Two windows with screens that open outward
- An open closet with rod for hanging clothes
- Wireless internet connection
Items you MAY want to bring
Common Electronics
- Alarm clock/clock radio
- Cell Phone/Telephone with Answering Machine
- TV, Blu-ray/DVD Player, Gaming Systems, Stereos/iPODs &: Docking Stations
- Coax Cable or other proper cables, such as HDMI, for Connecting Devices
- Personal Computer/Laptop and Printer
- Camera
- Small microwave and refrigerator/mini fridge or a micro fridge (refer to the Student Handbook - Page 22 - for proper wattage/size allowed)
Common Showering Supplies
- Towels, Wash Cloths, Loofahs
- Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash/Soap, etc...
- Toiletries (Toothpaste, Shaving Cream, etc…)
- Shower Sandals
- Shower Supply Carrier/Basket
Common Class Supplies
- Calculator, paper, pencils, study aids, etc…
Common Room/Bedding Supplies
- Sheets (Twin Long), pillows, blankets (Full), etc…
- Small Area Rug
- Posters and pictures
- Calendars/Planners
- Lamps
- Waste Basket
Organization/Closet/Laundry Items
- Organizational Bins/Containers
- Hangers
- Laundry basket and detergent (quarters for laundry)
- Sewing kit
- Iron and ironing board
Cleaning/General Supplies
- Broom, mop, etc…
- Tape, scissors, stapler, etc…
