Trinidad State Junior College, located in beautiful southern Colorado, has everything you could wish for. TSJC has programs in approximately 49 academic or vocational areas, a highly qualified faculty, personalized classes, and a friendly atmosphere where the people really care about you. At TSJC, you'll have a total college experience with men's and women's residence halls and a student union building which houses a bookstore, a recreation area and a cafeteria

Fully-accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, TSJC offers instruction in academic transfer programs and career-technical areas. These programs can lead to the degrees of Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of General Studies, Associate of Applied Science and/or various certificates.

You'll find everything you want in a college at Trinidad State, from ivy-covered buildings to state-of-the-art technology classrooms.

The beautifully landscaped, 17-acre campus is located in the central part of the city of Trinidad, Colorado. The majestic Colorado Rocky Mountain Range to the west and the New Mexico mesas to the south surround Trinidad. The city prides itself on its rich Western heritage of being an important stop on the Santa Fe Trail.

Nine buildings with lecture and laboratory classrooms provide first-rate facilities to both academic and vocational students. Well-equipped labs and telecommunications equipment are provided for use by students and staff. The beautifully designed Massari Performing Arts Center is available for student recitals, concerts and dramatic productions and is frequently the scene of cultural programs presented by nationally and internationally acclaimed professional performers and entertainers.

Resources are right at your fingertips in the Samuel Freudenthal Memorial Library, which contains over 50,000 volumes, a computer room, the latest research services and subscription services to over 300 periodicals. The library facilities also include several lecture rooms, faculty offices and an art exhibition room. On the lower level, is the Louden Henritze Archaeological Museum, which displays geology fossils and archaeology of the  area.

Trinidad State offers personalized services designed to help you succeed in meeting your educational and personal goals. Some of the many services available to all students include: new student orientation; career guidance and job placement counseling; support services for special populations; an Educational Opportunity Center; basic skills assessment; and tutoring services.
