Society of 1925 – A Lasting Legacy

Trinidad State College Foundation created the Society of 1925 to honor and thank those who remember the College with a gift in their estate plans.  There are many ways to do this.  Some have named Trinidad State in their will or living trust, while others have named us as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA or charitable trust.  A variety of options exist.

Our Stories listing imageMany people like to preserve their full control over their assets during life, protecting against future uncertainties.  Others may choose to maximize any tax and financial benefits that can result from their philanthropy.  It's all a matter of choice.  In addition, almost everyone will prioritize family and loved ones first, only providing for Trinidad State after those needs are met.  There is tremendous flexibility in this planning.

Your gift can be designated to meet current needs or to support an endowed fund for the specified purpose:

General Mission –
funds utilized by Trinidad State College Foundation in the areas of greatest need

Program Specific –
funds made available to support programs of your choice

General Scholarship Fund –
funds to provide tuition assistance for future students

Named Endowed Scholarship –
option to create a named endowed scholarship to support an individual student

Every estate gift, large or small, helps strengthen Trinidad State in permanent ways. We would love to help you discover how easy an estate gift can be.

All inquiries are held in strict confidence. There will never be any expectation or obligation to complete a gift.
