Why Agriculture Education at TSC?

Shape the Future of Agriculture

Agriculture educators are in high demand across Colorado and the nation. This program gives you the academic foundation to pursue a teaching career while building genuine expertise in agricultural science — so you can inspire students with both passion and knowledge.

Focused on Teaching

Designed specifically for future educators, the curriculum covers teaching strategies, curriculum development, and student engagement alongside agricultural content.

Guaranteed Transfer

All 63 credit hours transfer seamlessly to Colorado four-year institutions through the state’s Guaranteed Transfer framework — no credits lost, no wasted time.

CDHE-Recommended Core

Coursework follows the lower-division agriculture core recommended by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, ensuring academic alignment across the state system.
