Stained Glass

STAINED GLASS

Classes are typically scheduled in March or April and again in October or November

Location: Trinidad State College, Library 311
Cost: $90 – includes use of tools, grinders and materials to complete one project. Price is subject to change depending on the instructor's cost to purchase materials. 

Learn the Tiffany method of stained glass and complete a piece ready to hang within the week.

Quick learners may complete more than one piece – A materials fee for each additional project must be paid to the instructor during class.
This is Continuing Ed only – not for college credit

You will learn:

  • picking glass and laying out patterns
  • cutting glass
  • grozing and grinding glass
  • wrapping glass with copper foil
  • soldering (no experience needed)
  • cleaning, hanging preparation
  • Glass, foil, patterns, solder – all provided
