Award amounts below are for the 2024–2025 academic year and are set by the federal government or the State of Colorado. Actual awards depend on your FAFSA or CASFA results, enrollment status, and available funding.
Federal Pell Grant
Up to $7,395 per year (2024–25)
Designed to provide financial assistance to those who need it to attend post-high school educational institutions. Part-time students have their award pro-rated based on actual enrollment each semester.
- Must be a U.S. citizen (or eligible non-citizen)
- Must meet federally mandated eligibility guidelines
- Must be making satisfactory academic progress
Colorado Merit Aid
Award varies
The State of Colorado allots funding for students who have achieved high academic success. Requirements can change, so confirm current criteria with the Financial Aid Office before you apply.
- Enrolled in 6 or more credit hours
- Colorado resident

Colorado Student Grant (CSG)
Up to $5,000 per year (2024–25)
Designed to assist needy students with educational expenses. Early applicants who meet the May 1 financial aid deadline are prioritized; all other eligible applicants are awarded until funding is exhausted.
- Colorado resident with documented financial need
- Full-time enrollment for the maximum award
- Must be making satisfactory academic progress
- Apply by May 1 for priority funding
Federal SEOG
Up to $2,000 per year (2024–25)
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is designed to assist needy students with educational expenses.
- Demonstrated documented financial need
- Eligible for the Federal Pell Grant
- U.S. citizen, full-time enrollment for the maximum award
- Must be making satisfactory academic progress
