Gunsmithing Club
Open to All Students — No Experience Necessary

Whether you’re a Gunsmithing major or you’ve never held a firearm before, the Gunsmithing Club wants you. Come try something new — everyone is welcome.

Weekly Meetings

The Gunsmithing Club meets every Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. in the Mullen Building, Room 306.

Enter on the 3rd floor, from the parking lot between the Berg and Mullen buildings.

Meetings usually run about 15 minutes and cover upcoming events and details for the following Monday’s shoot.

Everyone is encouraged to join. No experience is necessary — just bring a willingness to learn and a good attitude.

Monday Nights at Prator Gun Range

What to Expect

The Gunsmithing Club heads to Prator Gun Range every Monday, and everyone is welcome — not just Gunsmithing students.

Most Mondays are trap shooting with shotguns, supplied by Gunsmithing students. The club plans to rotate in other firearms on future Monday nights — details are still being finalized.

New to shooting? Just show up. Rounds are provided for your first event.

Safety First

  • Safety is always the top priority.
  • Range Safety Officers are on site at every event.
  • New shooters are encouraged — bring a willingness to learn and a good attitude.
  • International students are welcome!

Want to See Upcoming Events?

Meeting reminders and Monday shoot details are shared at each weekly meeting. A full Gunsmithing events calendar is also planned for the main Gunsmithing page — check back there for dates once it’s live.
